RICHARD EISENBERG is a Bistro Award-winning and three time MAC-nominated songwriter.

Richie is a self-taught musician who, as a young man, wrote several songs and the lyric and score to an original musical. He stopped writing for a while, but resumed about a decade ago. Since then he's written over 60 original songs along with several parodies.  Richie is known for his catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics.

A show of his songs, "Smile on my Face," was nominated for a MAC award in 2013. 

 

In addition, his songs have been performed by himself and others in various venues around New York City, including 
The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Don't Tell Mama, The Metropolitan Room, Birdland, The Etcetera Salon, The Algonquin Salon, The Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, La Rivista, Singers Place, The Duplex, Urban Stages, 54 Below, and the occasional tax seminar.
